Any business, regardless of size or industry, can benefit from Pacific Coast's services. We tailor our solutions to meet the unique needs of each client.
The cost of Pacific Coast's consulting services varies depending on the scope of the project. We offer competitive rates and work with our clients to find a pricing structure that works for them.
All costs estimates are based on the problem statements and the proposed statement of work (SOW) as per our discussions with our client. If our client does not have a problem statement and/or SOW, we are happy to work collaboratively with them to create one.
Any changes in organisational priorities, problem statement(s), in-scope, deliverables, etc. will impact project delivery timelines and cost estimates.
The term "Pacific Coast" typically refers to the region along the western coast of North America that borders the Pacific Ocean. It spans several countries and states, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, and some parts of Central and South America.
However, technically, these countries boarder the Eastern Pacific Ocean.
Asia-Pacific or Asia Pacific is the part of the world in or near the Western Pacific Ocean. The region varies in size. It typically includes much of East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, West Asia and Oceania. Asia Pacific is home to over 4.3 billion people (60 percent of the global population), nurtures some of the oldest cultures on the planet, and offers a wealth of diverse landscapes and seascapes—from the heights of the Himalayas to the depths of the Pacific Ocean.
All of our Pacific Coast consultants come from coasts that are touched by the Western Pacific Ocean and have immigrated to Beautiful British Columbia.
Merging the cultures, languages, cuisines, histories, friendships and families on the shores of our two pacific coasts is what we are all about. We live, learn, play and honour the two pacific coasts that have become part of our past, present, and future.
The Black Lives Matter connected with police brutality and Stop Asian Hate movements have raised awareness that inequities persist in Canadian society and must be addressed. Active reconciliation with Indigenous peoples also requires a fundamental shift in the way people in Canada recognize and address past and present mistreatment. One concrete way of supporting change on an economic level is through the purchasing of goods and services that exemplify equity, diversity, and inclusion.
BIPOC stands for Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour, thereby recognizing the systemic injustices certain racial groups have and continue to experience. The term also becomes a way of mobilizing social justice by, for example, identifying businesses run by entrepreneurs who self-identify as members of marginalized groups.
3 reasons to support BIPOC Companies
While BIPOC companies produce exemplary goods well worthy of your support, there are also many other social and cultural reasons why they should be championed.
Now, more than ever before, times are changing as awareness grows relating to the intersectionality of gender and business.
Women are pioneers in many industries of business. While it is true that the different experiences and backgrounds that women and men have undoubtedly affect business approaches, this is actually a good thing. A business with diverse perspectives is an innovative business that can actually push the boundaries of industries.
Having a gender-diverse business yields better consumer insight, and in turn, a more profitable business. Back in 2015, McKinsey & Company found businesses that were more gender-diverse were likely to outperform approximately 15 % above the industry median. Years later in 2020, they found that the percentage had increased to 25%.
As structural and systemic barriers for women seeking to start their own businesses persist, one report suggests that the imbalance in access to capital for women and minority-owned businesses represents up to $4 trillion in missed revenue.
While the World Economic Forum’s 2020 Global Gender Gap Report estimates that closing the gender gap is nearly a century away, supporting female entrepreneurs and women-owned businesses is a good place to start.
Boston Consulting Group found that women-led startups “ultimately deliver higher revenue––more than twice as much per dollar invested” and that these same businesses are also “more likely to be focused on making a social contribution and building good relationships with employees".
